Health Care Access
Find greater funding for local Health Clinics. Assist residence gain access to health care through federal, state, and county programs such as the Maryland Health Connection. Organize a health fair in the community.
Community Investment
Advocating for county and state funding. Utilize grant experience to acquire additional funding for the county. Provide teachers and students the resources needed for a favorable learning environment.
Opportunities
Bring job and training opportunities to the community by working with business leaders and local training institution. Assist entrepreneurs in acquiring resources to expand and grow businesses. Ensure residence know of Federal and State programs available.
Victim Services
Provide resources to victims of crime such as crisis intervention, information, advocacy, and ongoing counseling. Arrange for court advocacy to help victims of crime navigate the court system. Provide compensation to assist victims of crime with the financial resource they may need to move forward
Recidivism
Direct funding to substance abuse programs to assist those in need overcome addition, find stable employment, and find housing. Expand expungement program to assist residence in the community clear their record to help them become contributors to the community
